01 — What is it?

3D CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a state-of-the-art radiological method that captures the entire jaw, sinuses, nerve structures, and temporomandibular joints in a single brief scan. CBCT is the 'gold standard' for diagnostics prior to implant therapy, oral surgery, and complex prosthetic rehabilitation.

02 — Advantages

Why this solution.

01

Low-dose imaging

CBCT uses 5–10 times less radiation than a conventional medical CT scan — safe even for routine diagnostics.

02

Comprehensive 3D visualisation

We see the bone, sinuses, mandibular canal and nerve structures in three planes — no guesswork, no compromise.

03

Digital planning

On a CBCT scan within CAD software, we plan implant positions, the fabrication of surgical guides, and prosthetic restorations.

04

Procedure safety

Risk assessment prior to the procedure — avoiding injury to nerves, sinuses, and other critical structures.

03 — Who is it for

Ideal candidate.

Indications and contraindications are always assessed individually, based on clinical examination and 3D diagnostics.

  • Implant treatment planning

  • Complex oral-surgical interventions

  • Endodontic diagnostics (root canals)

  • TMJ dysfunction and orthodontic diagnostics

  • Anatomical assessment prior to sinus lift and augmentation

04 — Treatment Process

Step by step.

01
01

Indication and consultation

A CBCT scan is performed based on clinical indication — in consultation with your doctor and according to medical need.

02
02

Imaging

The patient stands or sits still for 12–25 seconds — the device captures the entire area of interest in a single rotation.

03
03

Processing and analysis

The scan is processed in specialized software — we generate a 3D model and measurements that we use for treatment planning.

04
04

Plan and recommendation

We discuss the findings, treatment options, and a precise plan — always before any procedure begins.

06 — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your questions.

Is a CBCT scan safe?

Yes — CBCT uses 5–10 times less radiation than a conventional medical CT scan. The dose is equivalent to that of a short aeroplane flight.

How long does the scan take?

The scan itself takes 12–25 seconds. The entire visit, including preparation and image processing, takes 15–20 minutes.

When is CBCT recommended?

CBCT is recommended prior to every implant therapy, before complex surgical procedures, and in cases of unclear endodontic or orthodontic findings.
